2. Goals of Medical Camps India

  • To offer basic medical care to the poor population of a remote and hard to reach area in the South of India by means of day camps.
  • To give preventive care concerning infectious diseases like diphteria, malaria, elephantiasis, polio, etc.
  • To provide education about, among other subjects, hygiene, drinking water and preventing diseases like tuberculosis.
  • To set up a child health centre for mother and child.
  • To facilitate and organize eye and dental camps.
  • To give education about Aids.
  • To give education about and instruction in First Aid in schools.
  • To collaborate with the Indian authorities and to coordinate the further development of the health care project.
  • To realize a hospital facility, making more extensive diagnostics, treatment, care and revalidation available for the population.
