2. Goals of Medical Camps India
- To offer basic medical care to the poor population of a remote and hard to reach area in the South of India by means of day camps.
- To give preventive care concerning infectious diseases like diphteria, malaria, elephantiasis, polio, etc.
- To provide education about, among other subjects, hygiene, drinking water and preventing diseases like tuberculosis.
- To set up a child health centre for mother and child.
- To facilitate and organize eye and dental camps.
- To give education about Aids.
- To give education about and instruction in First Aid in schools.
- To collaborate with the Indian authorities and to coordinate the further development of the health care project.
- To realize a hospital facility, making more extensive diagnostics, treatment, care and revalidation available for the population.
